  • Wheat flour : 1 cup
  • Sattu powder : 4 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste : 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Cumin Seeds : 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder : 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder : 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon Juice : 1 tsp
  • Fresh Coriander : 1 tbsp
  • Oil/ Ghee : to fry paratha

To make Sattu Paratha, we first prepare the dough by kneading it. For this, in an open utensil, add wheat flour and celery and the amount of salt according to your taste. Now add water little by little to it and knead a soft dough. Knead the dough, cover it and keep it aside and now prepare the stuffing for Sattu Paratha.

To make stuffing for Sattu Paratha take sattu in a mixing pan. Now add ginger garlic paste, cumin, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, lemon juice and freshly chopped coriander and mix well. After mixing all these ingredients, sattu no longer remains like a powder, but starts getting a bit lumpy.

Adding a spoon or two of water to it makes its texture like a paste and now it becomes easy to use as a stuffing. If you want, you can also add one spoon of ghee instead of water. By adding ghee, the texture of sattu stuffing becomes very good and it also gets a good aroma of ghee.

Now the stuffing for Sattu Paraatha Recipe is ready. Now divide the kneaded dough into small parts. Take a portion and roll it round like we do for making chapati.
